Surface Technology GERMANY rescheduled: New dates announced for 2026

News

Surface Technology GERMANY, the international trade fair for surface technology, will be held at the
Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from May 5 to 7, 2026. The organizer is Deutsche Messe AG in Hanover.
With the new event period, the trade show will run parallel to the MedtecLIVE and GrindingHub
events, allowing visitors to attend three trade fairs in one day. Additionally, the new dates shorten
the time gap between the event and the American SUR/FIN in June.
“The industry is undergoing profound transformation, driven by technological advancements in
mobility, energy, sustainability, and information technology. Our exhibitors must continuously adapt
to remain competitive on a global scale. SurfaceTechnology GERMANY provides an ideal platform for
information exchange, networking, and tailored solutions, complemented by a well-established
specialist forum,” says Christoph Nowak, Project Manager of SurfaceTechnology GERMANY at
Deutsche Messe AG.
Nowak further highlights the advantages of the new event alignment: “Since the COVID-19
pandemic, we have observed a significant increase in visitor numbers at co-located trade fairs. The
thematic connections between these events create substantial added value for exhibitors and
attendees alike. Furthermore, the extended interval leading up to the summer break enhances
opportunities for post-show business.
